Where it started
J-Ports K.K. was founded in 2011 in Osaka, Japan — in one of the world’s most concentrated and condition-conscious secondary luxury markets. What began as a wholesale sourcing operation has grown into a multi-channel business connecting Japan’s pre-owned luxury ecosystem with buyers across Europe, North America, and Asia.
Authentic Experts was built as the public-facing platform of that infrastructure: a place where resellers can access wholesale inventory, and personal shoppers can buy authenticated pieces with confidence.
One group, four hubs
J-Ports handles sourcing, authentication, and logistics. Authentic Experts is where buyers connect with the inventory — whether through weekly wholesale catalogs, live sales, or direct purchase.
Both properties operate under J-Ports K.K., headquartered in Osaka, with additional hubs in Delaware serving the US, Northern Ireland serving Europe, and — as of 2026 — Hong Kong serving Asia-Pacific, each handling local logistics, shipping, and authentication.

Why Japan
Japan’s secondary luxury market is among the deepest in the world. Decades of careful ownership, a cultural aversion to waste, and a well-developed resale infrastructure mean that items coming out of Japan — even at lower grade classifications — arrive in condition that consistently exceeds what’s available in other markets.
We source directly from verified Japanese sellers, auctions, and estate collections. Every item enters our authentication pipeline before it is listed anywhere.
What authenticated means here
“Authenticated” means our in-house team in Osaka has physically inspected the item — not outsourced, not algorithmic. We check:
Items that don’t pass are not sold. We don’t list borderline pieces with caveats — if it doesn’t pass, it doesn’t ship.
